A-Z Medications: Brand & Generic Drugs Categorized & Summed
This site is dedicated to all things drugs, both brand and generics: this is your ultimate guide in the world of pharmaceuticals, categorized alphabetically for your ultimate convenience. From the materials published on the pages of our resource, you will be able to learn the following information: the principal characteristics, applications, side effects and other important aspects related to the drug.
This is how AZ Meds can be of service to you
AZ Meds, like pills themselves, should be taken with caution. Used properly, this site can save you money and, perhaps, your life. Our site contains life-size pictures of the drugs most often prescribed in the United States. AZ Meds’s product identification system is designed to help you check that the drug you’re about to take is the one your doctor prescribed. The most prescribed brand name drugs are included, as are some of the more frequently prescribed generic (nonbrand) versions of those drugs. Although many dosage forms are included, not all available forms and strengths of every drug have been shown.
While every effort has been made to create accurate photographic reproductions of the products, some variations in size or color may be expected as a result of the printing process. Don’t rely solely on the photographic image to identify your pills; check with your pharmacist if you have any product identification questions.
Most, though not all, drugs in the color section can be matched with your pill by checking to see if:
- The imprinted company logos (e.g., “Roche”) are the same.
- The product strengths (e.g., “250 mg”), frequently printed on the pills, are the same.
- Any product code numbers imprinted directly on the pill are the same.
